My Collection Catwalk Feature
Two outfits from my collection were featured in the Autumn Fair International Jewellery show at the Birmingham NEC. I loved the different way they were styled and the awesome accessories that went with them. Take a look:

Markus Lupfer DIY Ideas
I love Markus Lupfer's designs, i think they are cute and fun. But I just can't afford to shell out £200-£300 on a jumper! Here's a few DIY inspirations I'm having right now!
Which one would you want a DIY tutorial on? Personally my favourite is the plastic girl logo with sequins in.
P.S How cute are the kittens!

Favourite Outfits- Sister by Sibling Spring 2014
I felt like this years Sister collection was not as strong as last year. Whilst it was fun with the "lead sister" and bright colours I just thought the knit was quite basic and some of the techniques just didn't interest me.
Although weirdly enough I fell in love with the hand knit and crochet pieces again!
I don't know whats wrong with me!
What's your favourite?

Favourite Outfits- Mark Fast Spring 2014
Mark Fast has always been a massive inspiration to me, and you can probably tell that by my first collection. For a project I had in university called "bootcamp" we were given a designer outfit to replicate in 10 days. Mine was one of Mark Fast's dresses from his early collections. At first I was so scared but then I picked it up very quickly and enjoyed it. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and thats what made me the designer I am now.
This collection is even more inspiring to me, the colour palette is sensitive with the marled blacks, greys and dark teal blues yet brave with the introduction of bright yellows that really shook up the collection. He has pushed the boundaries of his normal techniques and even branched out into hand knitting/macrame? Can't quite tell what but it even makes me want to have a go and I hate hand work!

Rita Ora and Rimmel Make Up Collab!
Rita Ora is set to be doing a collaboration with Rimmel for a special edition collation of lip and nail products. As if she couldn't get any bigger this year after starring in a DKNY catwalk and hanging out with super famous model Cara Delvigne.
Rita's cosmetic style is unique and an inspiration to many young girls today. Here's what she had to say about the collab:
"I have always loved Rimmel growing up and it is so exciting for me to be able to work with such a cool brand. I am absolutely obsessed with makeup and being adventurous with colours so when I was given the chance to make my own collection with Rimmel it was like a dream come true!”
All I can say is I cannot wait! I just hope there are some nude shades that will suit my thin lips!

Primark Haul
Whilst waiting for the train to go up north and visit my grandparents i popped into primark to pick up some more of the false nails. The first set i got in a black and white chevron design and the second in a geometric pattern. Along with a new set of travel nail files. I also found these 2 tops that were £4 each and in cute prints that also matched the nails!

Beetlejuice
So the Primark falsies worked really well! They have been on now for 5 days straight and haven't budged! 2 days ago I had to go to a job interview at Fat Face and i didn't think the pop art nails were that appropriate so i painted them over in one of my favourite models own polishes in Beetlejuice. This is an amazing two tone polish that makes your nail elegant and fun.
Lady Punk Returns
vogue italia |
versace |
Last season there was grunge returning with some awesome knits but now (it's been a while) but punk is also returning to the catwalks. For me grunge and punk are all about the knitwear, I even managed to find my photos of the vintage Vivienne Westwood knitwear on display at the Pop Music and Fashion Exhibition on at the FTM in London.Almost feeling a DIY coming on!
